The worse the skin problem is depends on the treatment of it. There are many different skin disorders, they all require their own special treatments. There are many different skin problems and ways to treat them it would be a good idea to first see a doctor to determine the problem before treating.
Dermatitis is inflammation of the skin. The most common form is eczema causing the skin itch becoming red and crusty. The usual type of dermatitis in children is atopic eczema. It often, it is on the face, back of the neck or knees, or the inner side of the arms.
Other dermatitis types of skin problems are allergic reactions, either from medications, foods, or poison ivy. Psoriasis is another skin problem. It could appear after a strep throat infection for the first time. It could go away for a short period, but long periods of forgiveness are rare.
Yet another problem is acne, which happens when pores are clogged with dead skin cells or oily cosmetics causing inflammation in the surrounding skin. It is habitual in the face, neck, shoulders, chest, and back. Acne primarily happens in adolescence because during puberty, the pores on your face and body extend dramatically.
The most serious skin problem is tumours. They are either benign or malignant. Benign tumours come forth as moles and warts. Malignant tumours are harmful. The most serious type of skin cancer is melanoma. Melanomas start out as a mole that itches or becomes sore, enlarges, grows crusty, and bleeds. Melanomas are any size or color raised or flat. So a mole that has had an appearance change or has gotten bigger needs to be checked by your doctor. If you think you may have skin cancer then see your doctor immediately it can be cured if treated in its earliest stages.
