Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen – The Wait Is Almost Over

Who would’ve considered that a movie regarding big, transforming machines rooted on an animated series from the way back eightees would be one of the premier grossing films unprecedented?

That’s precisely what occurred with Michael Bay’s 2006 chartbuster adaptation of the Transformers, presenting Optimus Prime and the valiant Autobots versus Megatron and the malevolent Decepticons for possession of the transcendent All Spark, the maker of all responsive robotic life. Their combat waged all through centuries, in the deepest alcoves of the universe, and to our world.

The film congealed the rank of Shia LaBeouf – who portrayed Sam Witwicky – as a bankable A-list actor and hurled Megan Fox – who played Sam’s love pursuit – into fantastic recognition.

It comes as no surprise that the sequel to the movie, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, is one of the most expected flicks of 2009.

Arranged for June 26, 2009 issue, Revenge of the Fallen will tell the ongoing tale of the Autobots on Earth, but will also be more global compared to the original. Rumors continue, still, that the Earth won’t be the only combat zone in Transformers 2. The Fallen, after all, refers to one of the first 13 Transformers created by the robot god Primus who deceived his inventor by siding with Primus’ wicked brother, the planet-devouring, planet -sized, and global-transforming Unicron. This tells us that Transformers 2 won’t just be global in range, it will be intergalactic too.

The plot and the characters are covered in secrecy, though leaked
photos of filming show the following probabilities:

- Assembly automobiles tinted with dirty green which may point to the Constructicons – 7 Decepticon automatons that turn into construction vehicles and combine to form the grand Devastator.

- Unexploited notion art of an Autobot named Long Haul is alleged to have been dug up for this follow-up.

- Arcee, a woman Autobot who transforms into a motorcycle and who was thought to be a member of the faction in the initial movie is sure to be included in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

- Hasbro’s recent Licensing Summit showed several novel models planned for the release of Transformers 2, which indicate new personalities which may play some roles in the flick. Among them are a tiger-resembling automaton called Ravage, which would seem to be a sign of the participation of his boss and Megatron’s faithful right hand man, Soundwave. Talking about Megatron, the new models might display that he will be specified a new alt mode: a tank. At the same time, a Chevrolet Corvette will transform into the cartoon favorite, Sideswipe.

Educated Guesses About The Third Batman Flick

Nobody expected the latest Batman movie, the Dark Knight, to achieve the success it survived to reap. The follow-up to Batman Begins has received $525,833,000 as of Oct. 5, 2008, the fastest flick in history to ever breach the $500,000,000 hurdle.

This accomplishment has guaranteed one matter: another sequel.

Nowadays, the website is filled with rumors about the third movie. These gossips are, certainly, only that – rumors. At the present, no one actually discerns what the third film leads to. However, considering the obtainable details we can draw from certain patterns that will lead us to articulate learned speculations regarding the third film.

First, the label. Batman Begins is a catchy label that instantly talks of a remake of the franchise coming from uninspiring accounts in the current imaginings of the character as started by Tim Burton. Rumors of the title of the second flick varied from the exciting – i.E. Batman Triumphant – to the ordinary – i.E. Dark Moon Rising.

Eventually, the studio went for the Dark Knight, a name assigned by the persons of Gotham to their brooding guardin in the pages of the comic book series.

And what title is to come up for the third film? It actually depends on the route that the third film will take. If the third film maintains the legend of the Dark Knight, then Batman Triumphant may be in the running for the title of the third film. However, the grapevine is humming with rumors regarding the third movie being an adaptation of Frank Miller’s classic, the Dark Knight Returns, which is the narrative of a retired Batman coming back to his crime fighting ways 40 years after he surrendered his cloak. In which case, the Dark Knight Returns would be an appropriate title that needs no changes.

Second, the antagonists. Who will be the main villain for the third film? This would be simpler to guess. Just two primary villains from the Batman sagas remain, after Scarecrow has been killed, the Joker being detained, and Two Face having (apparently) dead. Riddler or the Penguin, either or both. Several internet sites have already reported that Johnny Depp has presented himself to play the part of the Riddler. Several internet sites have also reported that Philip Seymour Hoffman is seriously being contemplated to portray the Penguin.

Third, will there be a Robin? Despite the fact that the general atmosphere of the reboot doesn’t look to call for a Robin, a convincing take on a boy sidekick can not in any chance be ruled out. If this is the route that will be taken, expect the Dick Grayson version – the first Robin – to be the one used in the film.

A Taste For True Blood

All through the years, individuals have always been enthralled with vampires. The timeless appeal of works similar to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu, and realistic tales regarding Vlad the Impaler, in addition to the current accomplishments of Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight saga, Anne Rice’s Vampire Lestat epic, and flicks ranging from Fright Night to From Dusk ‘Til Dawn, are evidences to the status of vampires in modern day times.

Maybe it’s due to the mysterious nature of these fabled creatures. Or possibly it’s because of the dark divergence they have, being alive for all of eternity but being removed of life since their transformation. Or maybe it’s due to the reason that vampires represent matters that we all imagined of at some instance: immortality, hypnosis, and other kinds of abilities.

Anyhow, it cannot be denied that vampires have forever been, and will forever be, a big element of popular hottest TV series from Alan Ball – well known as the prized-winning novelist and director of contemporary classics like American Beauty and Six Feet Under – tries to milk the public’s enthrallment with vampires even further, notwithstanding, presenting the famous legend under a whole new light.

For a start, vampires are presented as a mistreated bunch. They are not much killers as they are preys. Vampires, in the eyes of True Blood, are representatives of marginals in the actual world. Having come out in the open to “be normal” with the population, vampires are regarded with terror by ordinary people. And as with each case of prejudice, panic causes hatred, and abhorrence leads to all forms of trouble.

And then, forget about the Angel-Buffy, Edward-Bella, and even the Dracula-Mina conventional relationship. The relationship amid the program’s heroine, Sookie Stackhouse – played by Anna Paquin – and the program’s local vampire, Bill Compton – portrayed by Stephen Moyer – is actually extraordinary. She can understand minds. His mind can’t be understood. She considers him witty due to this. He finds her different due to her faculties. All of these combined leads to a story that can be as ageless as the most memorable combinations in movie and literature.

True Blood is not for children, with gratuitous usage of violence, sex and bareness to cover the image of a hideous world once the apparently innocent New Orleans town is embraced by the shade of the night. Played on HBO, True Blood guaranteed a TV encounter like no other.
